Journeyman Computer Systems Analyst (Info Engineer III/Tech Spec I/Eng II)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Computer Systems Analyst with a minimum of 4 years’ experience as an Info Engineer III. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge in fields such as business, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related sciences. You will provide advanced technical analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation guidance on exceptionally complex projects that demand extensive subject matter expertise.
This position will start as 3 days a week in the office and will transition to 5 days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expertise:
- Serve as a technical expert, offering in-depth analysis and solutions for specialized applications and operational environments.
- Systems Analysis & Design:
- Conduct high-level functional systems analysis and design for complex problems.
- Develop integration strategies and provide comprehensive documentation and implementation advice.
- Software Development Participation:
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, with emphasis on planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation.
- Problem Solving & Automated Solutions:
- Apply advanced mathematical principles and industry methodologies to solve narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and scientific applications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an Info Engineer III role or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge in a specialized area such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Proven ability to analyze, design, and implement solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the capacity to effectively present technical information to diverse audiences.
