CyberWatch Support Services – Securities and Exchange Commission
Position Overview:
Are you a seasoned professional with a minimum of 13 years of experience in cybersecurity and complex systems? The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) CyberWatch Support Services is seeking a Senior Industry Functional Area Expert to join our team. This role demands a strategic thinker who can define problems, analyze complex systems, and develop actionable plans and requirements under individual delivery orders.
This position will start as 3 days a week in the office and will transition to 5 days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Problem Analysis & Planning:
- Define challenges and conduct in-depth analyses for complex systems.
- Develop comprehensive plans and system requirements as defined in specific delivery orders.
- Expert Leadership & Independent Service:
- Provide specialized functional or technical expertise on an as-needed basis.
- Offer independent leadership and guidance in critical cybersecurity areas.
- Evaluation & Recommendations:
- Prepare detailed analyses and evaluations.
- Recommend corrective implementations to enhance system performance and security
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 13 years of industry experience (SME III level expectation).
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity and functional technical areas, with a strong track record in system analysis and problem resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and provide leadership in complex technical environments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
