As a Cashier - CSR at Enerbase, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service at our convenience store location. Our cooperative operates several convenience stores in Minot. We also offer sales and services for farm machinery, full-service pumps, and automotive service and repair.
As a Cashier - CSR, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, answering inquiries, and providing assistance in a friendly and professional manner. You will also support the overall operations of the store by maintaining cleanliness, stocking shelves, and ensuring the availability of products. Additionally, you will play a critical role in promoting our cooperative and its services to customers.

Responsibilities- Perform cash handling duties, including processing transactions, giving change, and maintaining accurate records of sales
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store, including stocking shelves, tidying up the sales floor, and ensuring the availability of products
- Promote and upsell cooperative products, services, and promotions to customers
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and other store equipment efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe and secure environment for staff and customers
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
