The Electrical Test Intern will gain hands-on experience inspecting and testing high voltage electrical and mechanical components. Test Interns will spend 4-5 weeks working on each of Enercon’s 3 product lines calibrating and performing start-up for electrical and mechanical equipment. The role also supports R&D and Engineering staff with testing of Enercon products to ensure the highest degree of functionality and quality.

Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, and calibrate production equipment ranging from circuit boards to complete systems.
- Clearly and accurately complete test forms.
- Develop and record test procedures to increase the efficiciency of the department.
- Assist in developing troubleshooting procedures for our customers.
- Develop, build, or validate test fixtures and models for the department.
- Adhere to proper safety protocols while in the plant
- Currently enrolled in a four-year Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technician program.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work efficiently under dynamic deadlines with minimal supervision
- Ability to utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, current probes, etc. and troubleshoot down to the component level.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams
- Experience with AC/DC drives a plus
- Ability to work safely around high-powered and high-voltage equipment
