Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you’ll ensure designs meet rigorous safety and regulatory requirements, such as seismic and environmental standards. Later, you could evaluate proposed plant modifications, ensuring that every change upholds safety and compliance. Your afternoon might involve preparing in-depth technical reports, design calculations, and specifications, all while effectively communicating findings to key stakeholders. The range increases based on role, level and location ($90,000 - $177,450 per year).
Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

- Bachelor's Degree in civil structural engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum 3 years of experience with design of civil structural systems
- Good writing, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Senior Engineers typically have at least 7 years of post-graduate work experience in a related role
- Senior Principal Engineers typically have at least 10 years of post-graduate work experience
