Overview
ENERCON is seeking a Project Engineer over major projects within the power generation industry. You will have direct interaction with clients, regularly communicating with them to understand their needs, present project updates, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This role can be located in one of the following locations :
Kennesaw, GA
- Dallas, TX
- Tampa, FL
- Birmingham, AL
Responsibilities
This role involves managing budgets, schedules, scope, and quality to ensure project success with minimal oversight. You'll design and prepare comprehensive engineering packages, including drawings, calculations, and specifications, while applying technical principles and adhering to industry codes and standards.
Project Management : Own project budgets, scopes, schedules, and quality, while guiding team members to ensure successful, high-quality outcomesDesign and Technical Expertise : Develop detailed engineering design packages, drawings, specifications, and evaluations tailored to client needs, applying innovative and practical solutionsStandards and Compliance : Ensure all designs and deliverables align with industry codes, standards, and regulationsCollaboration and Communication : Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and foster strong relationships with colleagues and client engineers to achieve project goalsGrowth and Field Support : Embrace opportunities to learn new tools and provide hands-on expertise during field installations, system checkouts, and start-up activitiesQualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural or similar degree in Engineering10 years' of technical experience with engineering, design, and calculationsMust have experience within power generationAbility to lead multi-discipline teamsStrong skills in writing, presentation and communicationAbility to provide informed recommendation based on expertiseProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteProven ability as an individual contributor and team memberPhysically able to visit client sites (including stairs or ladders)Open to travel up to 20% of the timeAdditional Information
