Senior MEP Data Center Project Manager

Up to $180,000 annually
This Large MEP Contractor is well known for their extraordinary work in Commercial and Industrial sectors across the Mid-South. There is no limit in the variety of projects, as they continue to deliver high quality services across MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) contractor, we pride ourselves on the quality and expertise of our teams, who work across a diverse range of specialties, including New Construction, Mechanical Service, Industrial Refrigeration, and Manufacturing solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager that is eager to work on Mission Critical Data Center projects in the Richmond, Virginia location.
Duties:
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and serve as a positive safety example to the team.
- Develop project schedules, estimate worker-hour requirements, and collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to procure materials, equipment, and subcontracts.
- Review RFIs, project specifications, and oversee project execution, ensuring smooth communication across teams.
- Supervise project staff, including Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and Engineers, and coordinate regular project meetings for successful completion.
- Manage project forecasts, including revenue, costs, and gross profit, while acting as a liaison with the Virtual Construction Department to optimize project profitability.
Essentials:
- A minimum of five years of commercial/industrial project management experience - Data Center projects preferred
- Experience of hands-on management of projects with a scope of work exceeding $10m
- Ability to manage continuous flow of material and labor for large projects lasting a year or more
- Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with internal and external customers
- Ability to coordinate and perform multiple activities in a timely manner
