We are seeking a passionate Staff Systems Engineer with a strong background in leading complex technical projects. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and organize full robotic system development, leveraging expertise across requirements generation, engineering analysis, interface definitions, procurement, leadership, and manufacturing.
This position requires a versatile skill set to drive the design and implementation of robust robotic subsystems. You will contribute to our client’s mission of delivering innovative robotic solutions designed to enhance human productivity and improve real-world outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply systems engineering methodologies, including model-based systems engineering (MBSE), to manage requirements, milestones, and overall program needs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop system architectures, and create procurement plans, fabrication schedules, and test plans for full-stack robotic systems.
- Produce technical documentation, white papers, and presentations to communicate project deliverables.
- Collaborate with a small, agile team to design, prototype, and test new robotic features.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience leading cross-functional technical projects, including planning, technical requirement development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Expertise in guiding engineering teams through structured safety analysis processes such as HARA, FMEA, and Fault Tree Analysis.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
- Ability to create and present technical documentation and reports.
- Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with rapidly evolving roles and responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields preferred).
- 5 years of experience leading systems engineering efforts in robotics, autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, or related industries.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
- Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
- Visual acuity to read printed materials and computer screens.
- Hearing and speech capabilities for effective communication.

Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
