Position Summary
As a crucial member of our team, the Packaging Machine Operator plays a vital role in safely and efficiently operating a variety of packaging equipment to uphold productivity and quality standards.
Responsibilities
General Items
- Adhere rigorously to all safety standards without exception
- Operate battery packaging equipment efficiently to meet productivity expectations
- Perform quality checks and record data as required
- Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills by identifying and addressing challenges independently
- Demonstrate ownership and willingness to continuously improve self and area of accountability
- Make equipment adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standard
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and good housekeeping of work areas
- Recognize continuous improvement opportunities that will enhance safety, quality, organization, and productivity
- Other duties as assigned
Quality/Production Duties
- Maintain a constant supply of materials to the machines as required.
- Clear all errors in the equipment and feed systems.
- Make all process adjustments necessary to assure good quality product.
- Assure all scrap is marked & contained properly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and quality control charts.
- Perform specified operator maintenance as required.
- Assist the mechanic as required when machines are down.
We we are looking for
- At least 2 years of production/manufacturing operations experience
- Capable of meeting diverse physical demands such as lifting, walking, standing, sitting, and climbing stairs and ladders
- Self-motivated with ability to work in a team-oriented environment with limited supervision
- Exciting opportunity to work 10 - 12-hour night shifts
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and abilities

Total Rewards Package
The pay rate for this position is up to USD $21.25/Hr. per hour
