Value Stream Associate Manager - Production

Position Summary:

Provide leadership and direction for all manufacturing within the Value Stream (VS). Accountability for colleague safety, product quality, and the achievement of key performance objectives within the Value Stream; and those reporting to the VSM.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership of daily Value Stream execution and improvement in core competencies (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery)
• Participates with the development of VS specific financial commitments
• Plans the shift schedule based on demand and ensures adequate coverage across shifts
• Works with maintenance to prioritize and resolve issues impacting plant performance within the Value Stream
• Develops and leads trainings to develop core competencies of colleagues across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery
• Identifies and leads cross-functional performance improvement projects within the Value Stream
• Provides clear goals for direct reports and provides regular feedback and coaching
• Develops others within the VS to enable them for future roles within the business
• Leads cross functional teams
• Thorough understanding of VS specific product costs including DL, VE, Period, and Major Maintenance
• Assists with development of annual budgets
• Summarizes and shares key VS results with plant management on a monthly basis
• Collaborates with other VS Managers towards meeting plant specific objectives
• Leads key teams of 5-8 salary and 3-10 hourly colleagues; 2-10 direct reports

• 7 years of operational leadership experience
• Production or Maintenance Supervision experience
• Financial Acumen related to product costs
• Achieving results oriented
• Demonstrated passion for customer focus
• Builds Relationships amongst colleagues at all levels of the organization
• Success developing individual contributors and future leaders in the business
• Familiar with safety and quality processes and systems
• Exposure to maintenance systems and processes
• Familiar with HR processes and systems
• Understanding of engineering projects and processes
• Thorough cost & systems understanding
• Mechanical aptitude - equipment and systems

Total Rewards Package: The salary range for this position is USD $87,000.00/Yr. - USD $117,000.00/Yr.

Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
