What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Loan Consultant-NW position at Energy Capital Credit Union?
The primary role of this position is to assist members with loan application requests. To accomplish this role must interview loan applicants and build rapport, recommend appropriate loans and loan protection products, and general guidance to ensure high levels of member satisfaction. Provides clerical and administrative support needed to process and close member loan requests. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with all required regulations and policies, including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign
Assets Control (OFAC) policies, procedures, and regulations.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Submits loan applications and prepares them for review by a Loan Underwriter. Follows-up with member to discuss loan decision.
- Processes approved loans, including mortgages and home equity loans, coordinates loan closing either in-person or online and disburses the loan.
- Cross-sells additional loan products and loan protection products.
- Reviews and utilizes indirect reports to identify additional loan product and loan protection cross-sell opportunities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Desired candidate will
- have a high school diploma or GED
- have a satisfactory credit history
- have basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
