Position Overview:
Energy Diagnostics is looking for a smart and driven Energy Modeling Trainer to join our team. In this role, you’ll train and mentor new energy modelers and schedulers/final enterers, ensuring they develop the skills needed to succeed. You'll provide hands-on instruction in SketchUp and Ekotrope, review preliminary models, and foster a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Train new hires in all aspects of energy modeling, from preliminary to final data entry.
- Provide hands-on instruction using SketchUp and Ekotrope to meet EDI’s quality standards.
- Conduct quality assurance on preliminary models.
- Serve as the primary mentor for new employees, offering guidance and support.
- Foster a positive and engaging training environment.
- Perform high-level energy modeling to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Act as a brand ambassador, embodying EDI’s values and commitment to excellence.
Qualifications:
- Energy modeling and/or residential construction experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring.
- Experience with SketchUp, CAD programs, and Ekotrope preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
