Job Description:
Energy Diagnostics is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Multifamily Energy Rater. In this role, you will be responsible for performing onsite energy efficiency testing at multifamily housing projects across the country. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and developers to assess energy performance and ensure compliance with energy codes and standards throughout various phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct onsite energy efficiency testing and inspections at multifamily housing projects.
- Perform energy modeling and analysis to assess building performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement energy efficiency strategies and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with energy codes, standards, and regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of energy assessment findings.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to project stakeholders on energy efficiency best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and advancements in energy efficiency.
- Willingness and ability to travel to job sites throughout the country as needed; driving and flying to locations is required for this role.
