As a Marketing Development Representative (MDR), you will be responsible for qualifying and converting inbound leads into sales opportunities. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and sales, ensuring that prospects who engage with our inbound channels (website, webinars, content downloads, etc.) are effectively transitioned and handed off to the sales team. This is a key role in driving our pipeline growth and revenue expansion.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage with inbound leads via email, phone, and chat to assess their needs, fit, and level of interest in our solutions.
- Promptly respond to inquiries from marketing campaigns, website forms, live chat, and event registrations.
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand pain points, business challenges, and goals.
- Manage and nurture leads who are not yet sales-ready through strategic follow-ups, personalized content, and engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ensure smooth lead handoff to Sales Representatives.
- Work closely with marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and lead scoring criteria to improve inbound conversion rates.
- Meet or exceed key performance metrics, including response time, lead conversion rates, and qualified opportunity creation.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

- 1-3 years of experience in a sales or marketing development role, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment.
- Experience working with inbound marketing and demand generation teams

- Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Outreach).
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
