About the Position
This role provides frontline support for consultants and customers using the Adapt2 ISO product, managing tier 3 triage for shadow settlements and database-dependent processes. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex stored procedures and SQL processes, analyzing system functionality, and resolving intricate energy market challenges. As a trusted advisor, this role fosters client relationships while collaborating with internal teams to deliver optimal solutions. Strong communication skills are essential to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences, ensuring seamless service delivery and customer success.
- Provide software product's frontline technical support to customers and consultants using the Adapt2 ISO product, resolving tier 3 issues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to help optimize their use of the enterprise solution.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Software Development, Implementation/Delivery, and Product Management, to address customer needs and provide the best solutions.
- Analyze data and system performance in Azure SQL to identify recurring issues, recommend improvements, and contribute to long-term resolutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize complex SQL stored procedures for different processes such as shadow settlements, allocations and transmission profit and loss.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
- Advanced SQL Knowledge: Expertise in Transact-SOL (T-SQL) and PL/SQL for efficient database management, complex query writing and data analysis for technical customer support.
- Energy Power Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the dynamics and regulations of energy markets, particularly in the context of ISO and RTO operations
- Technical Adaptability: Demonstrated experience in or eagerness to develop skills in Python for data transformation, automation and analysis.
- API Testing: Experience in testing RESTful APls, SOAP APls, integration using Postman, Swagger and other web services
- Good to have: MS Power Bl, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Cl/CD pipeline for deploying microservices to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Communication skills: Ability to follow written and oral instructions, create standardized documents, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Computer Science or Engineering background preferred
Desired but not required
- Power Settlements Knowledge: Experience or understanding of power market settlements, transaction processing, and related financial systems.
- Microsoft Azure Ecosystem knowledge: Understanding of Azure cloud services, infrastructure, and how they integrate into enterprise software solution
