TITLE: Field Technician
General Description
The Field Technician will be responsible for performing and coordinating a variety of field activities associated with the Nichols Ranch in-situ uranium recovery project.
Essential Duties
The specific duties and responsibilities of the Field Technician include, but are not limited to the following:
· Heavy equipment operation includes but is not limited to: backhoes, track hoes, loaders, skid steers, MIT truck, forklifts, logging truck, hoist truck, and cementing unit.
· Cement cased wells.
· Mechanical Integrity Test cased wells.
· Dig/backfill mud pits.
· Plug drill holes.
· Monitor and maintain drilling material inventory.
· Geophysical drillhole logging.
· Well stimulation using cable swabbing rig.
· Site reclamation including dirtwork, disking, seeding, etc.
· Road maintenance including grading, snow removal, etc.
· Maintain field vehicles and equipment in top mechanical condition and good appearance both inside and out.
· Document field work and complete appropriate log sheets and paperwork.
· Perform all work tasks in a manner that follows and uses the proper safety procedures and protection equipment.
· Assists with any task required by management with acknowledgement from direct supervisor.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required.
· A solid understanding and application of basic math skills.
· Experience preferred in: OSHA General Industry and Construction Standards including but not limited to Lockout Tagout, Line Break, Hot Work Permits, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, PPE, JSA, and Risk Assessments.
· Possess and maintain a current valid driver’s license.
· CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
· Ability to be physically active during a 10-hour work shift, including but not limited to: standing, walking, climbing ladders up and down, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and/or crawling.
· Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, occupational health screening, and background check, which are paid for by the company.
Job Details:
This position reports to the Nichols Ranch ISR Mine Site. Commute times are as follows:
Casper: appx 1 ½ hours
Gillette: appx 1 hour
Kaycee: appx 1 hour
Buffalo: appx 2 hours
Transportation to and from the mine site is provided.
Work hours are 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, depending on the current work schedule at the mine site. Work hours are subject to change based on business conditions.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYEEMENT:
The Field Technician position is a full-time, hourly position. Any work performed over 40 hours per week is compensated at 1.5 times the hourly wage. This position qualifies for all employee benefits offered by Energy Fuels Resources (USA)
Inc. Energy Fuels reimburses the employee for pre-approved out-of-pocket company expenses incurred within the course and scope of the job.
