**VP of Engineering & Development**
Aka Energy Group, LLC is seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee business development and commercial activities.
The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in engineering and be able to provide leadership and formulate strategies for the company.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing new assets and investing in non-operating assets
- Expanding future assets and executing the business strategy
- Managing technical, business development, and commercial team personnel
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of power generation, CCUS, and hydrogen production, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Mission: The Southern Ute Indian Tribe's Department of Energy aims to ensure maximum benefit from energy resources while minimizing environmental impact.
The department oversees energy resource development on the Southern Ute Indian Reservation, which has abundant natural gas resources. The department consists of three divisions:
- Exploration & Production / Compliance Division: Monitors exploration and production activities to promote safe energy development.
- Energy Accounting Division: Tracks Severance Tax and Royalty payments and conducts accounting audits.
- Land Division: Manages business agreements and contracts linking the oil and gas industry to the Southern Ute Tribe and Federal Government.
