Manage and execute predefined processes. Responsibilities : Responsible for build plan of large volume production facility. Validate work order integrity. Ensure production line balance. Release work orders for material pull and production. Ensure all planning reports are accurate and up to date. Daily correspondence with Manufacturing Operations and Material Supply. Ability to work across multiple departments : Inventory Control, Material Supply, Program Management, Manufacturing Operations, and Quality. Tracks and reports daily / weekly build plans, order status, and demand forecast. Provide timely response to program management regarding customer prioritization requests. Identify and escalate issues related to meeting production schedules. Qualifications : 2 years technical school , or 2 years of related production planning experience. At least five years of experience in production environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on high level of experience with Excel. Detail oriented. Emphasis on data-driven communication and retention. Ability to learn and understand the processes / capabilities / limitations of internal planning system (MPS). Ability to coordinate, and work cooperatively, with various departments and personnel to meet customer commitments. Ability to work in standard office setting, including continuous sitting, standing, keyboarding. Ability to work as business needs require which may include long days, occasional evenings and weekends, and occasional travel for business meetings or training.
