BASIC FUNCTIONS
Identify trends, periodically analyze equipment/machine problems, perform necessary adjustments on manufacturing equipment, identify root causes and initiate corrective actions.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES (*denotes essential functions as defined by ADA)
This position interacts with Operators, Operations Technicians, Specialized Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers and Leadership.

BASIC FUNCTIONS
Identify trends, periodically analyze equipment/machine problems, perform necessary adjustments on manufacturing equipment, identify root causes and initiate corrective actions.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES (*denotes essential functions as defined by ADA)
- Coordinate efforts between operations and engineering functions
- Set up spare parts, optimize PMs, keep process parameters updated
- Identify best practices and create standards combining available information & knowledge.
- Follow plant safety and environmental policies, and keep work areas clean and orderly
- Utilize plant systems e.g. SAP, MES, OPCON, Promaster, Tableau, etc.
- Utilize internal global resources where necessary
- Trouble-shooting equipment-related electrical issues
This position interacts with Operators, Operations Technicians, Specialized Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers and Leadership.
Qualifications
- Mechatronics Training Required
- Lightning Bolt Certified or capable of certification on start date
- Electrical/electronics background, working with PLCs, drive systems, etc.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing assembly or machining
- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision and other personnel with the ability to create clear technical instructions
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Must be able to function in a noisy and fast paced environment
- Demonstrates self-initiative
- Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing assembly or machining
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, print-reading and mechanics
- Must demonstrate mechanical proficiency, leadership ability, and teamwork
- Must be willing to work on alternate shifts and must demonstrate the ability to adapt to changes
- Must be flexible to work other shifts for training, coaching, projects and travel as needed
- Must have assessed into SpecTech job category
- Electrotechnical or mechatronics apprenticeship
- 2 year associates degree in industrial electrical maintenance
- Industrial automation and controls or Electrical Craftsmanship training
- Military electrical/electronics training and experience
- Licensed electrician with industrial automation and controls experience
- Industrial electrical maintenance with industrial automation and controls on-the-job training.
