Responsibilities
- Industrial Maintenance:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues in manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and enhance equipment longevity.
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed.
- Controls:
- Design and implement control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and optimize control strategies for processes.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to personnel on control system operations and troubleshooting.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance control systems.
- Some experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in the electrical/electronic manufacturing sector.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and industrial equipment functionality.
- Experience in industrial controls, automation, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of control theory, PLC programming, and HMI design.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with industry-standard safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, enabling collaboration with cross-functional teams and other departments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime or weekend shifts depending on production needs.
- Passion for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.
