This position will be based at the TRG headquarters in McLean, VA and/or remotely. There may be occasional on-site meetings at the GSA Headquarters in Washington, DC.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as an advisor to GSA and OMB executives on matters related to spend data
- Responsible for the development of accurate and high-quality dashboards that are published to USASpend.gov
- The Senior Data SME shall be the senior expert, data analyst, and will possess extensive knowledge and experience developing and applying data analytic methodologies and principles
- Lead the application of analytic techniques and help define project objectives and strategic direction
- Provide leadership and vision to client and project teams around the methodology and resolves complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles
- Bachelor degree required and a minimum of 7 years of related experience including working with GSA and OMB category management executives
- Experience working with government-wide data systems to extract, cleanse and analyze government spend data, specifically as it relates to category management
- Experience using SQL, mySQL, Oracle, postgreSQL, Python, PySpark, R, Tableau to extract, cleanse, analyze and visualize spend data for government-wide category management use
- Specializes in cloud-based IT projects, oversight of infrastructure, application support, risk management, and security auditing
- Experience analyzing government-wide spend data and developing associated dashboards or executive briefings to inform decision-making related to government-wide category management
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
