The ideal candidate will excel in inventory management, supplier negotiation, with emphasis on freight forwarding and 3PL, and operational efficiency. Proficiency ERP system and BI platforms is a must, along with certifications such as CSCP or Six Sigma.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the end-to-end supply chain strategy for B2C channels.
- Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and procurement to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and improve performance.
- Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality and delivery timelines.
- Utilize data analysis tools (Excel, BI platforms) to forecast trends and improve decision-making.
- Manage relationships with global third-party logistics (3PL) providers, oversee warehousing operations and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and local supply chain laws.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies and process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field are a plus
- 5 years of experience in supply chain management, including, with a company that sold $30m /yr.
- Experience with 3PL partnerships and direct-to-consumer logistics.
- Hands-on experience with supply chain tools
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with demand forecasting tools.
- Understanding of customs regulations, import/export processes, and international trade compliance.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or Six Sigma are a plus.
- Understanding of electronic processes and order management.
- Strong data analysis capabilities using tools like Excel, SQL, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, and finance teams.
