SUMMARY OBJECTIVE
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling products to current and new customers to support the company’s revenue engine.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product needs; identifies and suggests products to meet those needs.
· Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
· Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products and enhancements that may be of interest.
· Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems in NetSuite.
· Collaborates with purchasing, customer service and department managers to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
· Weekly follow-up on Quotes is required to generate additional revenue.
· Accountable for continuing to develop professional and technical knowledge through attending workshops and other educational trainings, participating in professional societies and industry networks and reading professional and industry publications.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a competitive, high-energy sales environment.
Position Type/Expected Schedule of Work
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday and may also include weekend work. This is not a remote or work from home sales role, the individual selected will be required to be on- site for four days and can select to work from home one day per week, per sales manager approval.
