GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the Direction of the Financial Planning Manager, the Long-Range Planning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, training, and ensuring best practices of the development and implementation of a strategic long-term financial plan that prioritize and allocate resources across operational, initiatives, and strategic needs for Columbia Generating Station. This position requires a proactive approach to forecasting trends and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure a robust and structured integrated planning processes.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Under the Direction of the Financial Planning Manager, the Long-Range Planning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, training, and ensuring best practices of the development and implementation of a strategic long-term financial plan that prioritize and allocate resources across operational, initiatives, and strategic needs for Columbia Generating Station. This position requires a proactive approach to forecasting trends and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure a robust and structured integrated planning processes.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Long Range Planning and Forecast Development
- Lead the development, maintenance, improvement, and monitoring of the Columbia Station (CGS) Long-range Plan (LRP) used to determine Capital and Expense projects that populate the LRP in accordance with procedure requirements.
- Oversee and provide direction on project coordination activities as required to support development and ongoing maintenance of the annual project lists.
- Leverage existing solutions to ensure activities are efficient, complete, and accurate. Ensure key risks related to these activities have been identified and compensating internal controls are in place and institutionalized.
- Create an awareness of identifying workplace efficiencies and cost reduction methods to achieve the stations strategic goals for cost of power.
Leadership and Organizational Development
- Coach and development direct reports on a regular basis to maintain and improvement performance.
- Ability to build and sustain a positive, proactive team-led culture.
- Provide regular oversite and feedback on process execution.
- Continuously evaluate team capabilities and identify areas for training or development to grow team’s capabilities.
Management Reporting:
Oversee development / design new analysis, reporting, and/or performance indicators beneficial to capital spending/control related activities common in a business, finance and/or financial planning and analysis environments. Provide ongoing feedback to the organization on investments made with specific expectations of dose or manpower savings.
Lead/support associated committee meetings and ensure complete, accurate, and timely reporting of committee activities per procedure requirements.
Must participate on the Emergency Response team (ERO) when designated and support biennial refueling outage.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, in accounting, business administration, finance, or engineering (or another related degree) and six years of relevant progressive experience in professional discipline; in lieu of degreee, an additional four years of related experience is required. High school diploma or GED required.
A minimum of 3 years of project leadership, or program ownership (SME) experience required.

Pay Range
$136,961.00 - $205,441.00 Annual
Midpoint:
$171,201.00
Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
Incentive Compensation
This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
