GENERAL SUMMARY
Provide financial project planning and analysis support to designated enterprise risk projects and business issues with a high level of independence. Develop business case evaluations, enterprise projects risks, and respond to budgetary and financial challenges while being proactive in project forecasting, financial planning and risk assessments. Ensure that cost and budget practices conform with generally accepted accounting principles, industry standards, contractual requirements and in alignment with corporate financial and risk related policies and procedures.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide financial project planning and analysis support to designated enterprise risk projects and business issues with a high level of independence. Develop business case evaluations, enterprise projects risks, and respond to budgetary and financial challenges while being proactive in project forecasting, financial planning and risk assessments. Ensure that cost and budget practices conform with generally accepted accounting principles, industry standards, contractual requirements and in alignment with corporate financial and risk related policies and procedures.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop business case evaluations, enterprise project forecasting and budget development; including reports and metrics that support management and steering committee financial reporting needs.
- Develop and monitor organizational cost performance vs. budget by analyzing variances and cost trends and developing recommendations for corrective actions. Interfacing with project controls staff to support monthly financial summaries to supported projects.
- Capital and Operations project controls and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) information. Provide technical direction and assistance to enterprise project managers using the tools and processes for developing project scope, detailed project schedules, cost estimates, and perform financial analysis and control activities in support of the project manager(s).
- Recommend corrective action as appropriate to recover cost and schedule to established baselines.
- Act as a primary liaison to the Corporate Finance Department to ensure alignment with Financial and Risk related policies and procedures
- Maintenance, improvement, and monitoring enterprise project implementation plan in accordance with procedure requirements. This includes coordination with the corporate long range planning team.
- Ensure key risks have been established and actions identified to support lowest risk reasonable for the enterprise projects being implemented. Monitor to ensure these activities have been identified and compensating internal controls are in place and institutionalized.
- Prepare materials and support required briefings and or meetings to share project financials and or risks.
- Develop and or update business plan analysis to support understanding of overall project costs.
- Understanding of Change Management process
- Intrapersonal/Interpersonal proactive collaboration within department and external customers
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 10 years of industrial level experience working with financial/accounting/budgeting/risk position, or business analysis / financial project planning, preferably within a large company or profit center,
OR an AA degree and 12 years of industrial level experience working with financial/accounting/budgeting/risk position, or business analysis / financial project planning, preferably within a large company or profit center.

Pay Range
$119,107.00 - $178,661.00 Annual
Midpoint:
$148,884.00
Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
Incentive Compensation
This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
