Engineering Intern

At Energy Panel Structures, Inc., a leading commercial and residential construction company, we offer exciting opportunities for undergraduate engineers to gain hands-on experience in the design side of construction.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed building plans, including plan views, cross sections, and construction details.
• Create preliminary drawings for buildings in the quoting stage.
• Analyze structural loads on building members using advanced software.
• Learn about IBC and ASCE 7 provisions and apply them to real-world projects.
• Explore various EPS product lines and their applications.
• Attend training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture or related software.
• Familiarity with construction materials and methods.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and design.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and estimating techniques.

Education:

Pursuing a degree in Ag Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
