Key Responsibilities:

• Basic maintenance to Fork Lifts, Pickups and Trailers
• Scheduling and completion of Preventative Maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on automated assembly equipment.
• Ensure that processes and equipment are set up and monitored according to work instructions.
• Assist in writing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and technical machine maintenance manuals.
• Monitoring of machine performance measures.
• Assist with continuous improvement (Lean) across the manufacturing process.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

• Must arrive on time, with a positive attitude and ready to work.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Must wear all required PPE.
• Must be able to take direction from production Assistant Foreman, Foreman/Supervisors.
• Must be able to work in a “Team” oriented environment.
• Complete all work assignments in a timely manner.
• Must respect all company property.
• Demonstrate the safe and proper use and maintenance of all tools, machines and equipment.
• Understand and abide by company policies and procedures.
• Must follow all Safety rules.
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of electrical and ability to read electrical schematics.
• Ability to work with little supervision and deliver results.
• Basic safety, Independent thinking, Technical understanding and attention to detail are must haves.

Physical Demands:

• Standing, stooping, walking, bending and climbing.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull 50 lbs.

• 
  Must be able to work while standing, sitting, stooping, bending or in a prone position.
• Must be able to work with hands over head.
• Must be able to climb and work from a ladder.

Education:

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2 years of manufacturing troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent mechanical skills and be able to disassemble and assemble complex mechanisms with close tolerances and exacting alignment.
• Mechanical experience in both machine and automotive.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
