Key Responsibilities:
- Basic maintenance to Fork Lifts, Pickups and Trailers
- Scheduling and completion of Preventative Maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on automated assembly equipment.
- Ensure that processes and equipment are set up and monitored according to work instructions.
- Assist in writing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and technical machine maintenance manuals.
- Monitoring of machine performance measures.
- Assist with continuous improvement (Lean) across the manufacturing process.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Key Skillsets:
- Must arrive on time, with a positive attitude and ready to work.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Must wear all required PPE.
- Must be able to take direction from production Assistant Foreman, Foreman/Supervisors.
- Must be able to work in a “Team” oriented environment.
- Complete all work assignments in a timely manner.
- Must respect all company property.
- Demonstrate the safe and proper use and maintenance of all tools, machines and equipment.
- Understand and abide by company policies and procedures.
- Must follow all Safety rules.
- Excellent problem solving, decision making, verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of electrical and ability to read electrical schematics.
- Ability to work with little supervision and deliver results.
- Basic safety, Independent thinking, Technical understanding and attention to detail are must haves.
Physical Demands:
- Standing, stooping, walking, bending and climbing.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull 50 lbs.
Must be able to work while standing, sitting, stooping, bending or in a prone position.- Must be able to work with hands over head.
- Must be able to climb and work from a ladder.
Education:
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2 years of manufacturing troubleshooting experience.
- Excellent mechanical skills and be able to disassemble and assemble complex mechanisms with close tolerances and exacting alignment.
- Mechanical experience in both machine and automotive.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
