Roof Installation Technician
Residential Division
Job Summary:
As a Roof Installation Technician, you will be responsible for performing quality roof installations in a safe, effective and efficient manner under the direction of an Installation Team Leader. You will report directly to the Team Lead to whom you are assigned and the Production Manager of the Residential Division. You will participate in the development, enactment, and enforcement of company policy and procedures regarding service projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist and perform the removal and installation duties of various roof systems as assigned.
- Carry out the duties to which you are assigned by the Installation Team Leader and Production Manager.
- Assure yourself, other team members, clients, and property on all job sites you are working.
- Attend all mandatory training and safety meetings.
- Communicates, coordinates, and cooperates with other members of the ERC Team to facilitate all necessary job functions and deliver exceptional experience to clients and one another.
- Contribute to the improvement and development of best practices by offering ideas to improve operational effectiveness.

Skills Required:
- Ability to positively interact with customers, suppliers, and team members

- Maintain organized, efficient, and safe work habits
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of roofing materials
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is a plus, but not required
- Roofing experience of 2 years preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements:
· Physical strength and stamina
- Ability to work at various heights with confidence at significant elevations
- The ability to climb ladders and get on roofs to perform tasks associated with roof removals and/or installations
- Lift and move objects up to 100 pounds
- Working at heights
- Standing, crouching for periods of time, great balance, squatting, manual dexterity and bending knees
- Balance and coordination while on uneven surfaces while carrying material
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Working in all outdoor elements and weather conditions
