- Performs a variety of tasks to support operational needs. Obtains knowledge, skills, and experience to be productive in multiple areas. Ensures compliance with EnergySolutions’ safety and operational policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Operates a broad range of equipment: hand and power tools; light, medium, and heavy weight equipment; mobile crane; and powered industrial vehicles.
- Receives and applies oral and/or written instructions from supervisors. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and operational procedures.
- Generates/reviews shipping documentation and performs data entry.
- Applies applicable barcodes, markings, labels, and placards to packages.
- Inspects and loads packages on outgoing shipments. Unloads and inspects packages on incoming shipments. Electronically tracks packages from arrival through departure.
- Participates in procedure development and revision, job hazard analysis, and safety walkdowns as applicable.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work at elevated heights, such as portable ladders, fixed ladders, rolling platforms, etc.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and environments
- Ability to work inside an office, outside, or in extreme temperatures
- Ability to work with machinery vibration, power tools, moving objects, and slippery/uneven walking surfaces
- Ability to work alone and with others
- Ability to operate equipment and drive a vehicle
Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
Education
- High School diploma or GED
Certifications
- Ability to successfully complete all qualifications required to perform job functions
- Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV)
Required Experience
- A minimum of 3 years experience in waste processing, logistics, or waste management
- logistics, or waste management
- Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, tracking, and
- storage operations
Preferred Experience
- Mobile Crane
- CDL/Yard Truck Operator
- EWT/Workbench
