Finance and HR Assistant
Energy Systems Southeast, LLC (ESSE), the Industrial Distribution Central for Generac Power Systems, is currently searching for a Finance and HR Assistant in Birmingham, Alabama.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists during the pre and post-hire process
- Manages and maintains job postings
- Ensures timely response to questions from hiring managers, applicants, and new hirs
- Coordinates scheduling of orientation
- Assists in the orientation and onboarding process
- Conducts new employee orientation as needed
- Prepares materials for employee onboarding
- Assists in administering and updating employee benefits
- Provide general support for HR
- Maintains employee personnel files and conducts ongoing audits
- Assists in benefits administration and maintenance
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Perform general accounting support
- Assists in payroll administration as backup
- Reconcile benefit invoices to payroll records
- Assists in general ledger maintenance and review
- Assists in bank reconciliations
- Assists in month end close review and postings
- Perform basic office tasks
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Minimum 3 years experience in related field.
