JOB SUMMARY
Energy Transport Logistics is hiring a self-motivated individual to move loads safely and efficiently from one area of the property to another. The Yard Mule Driver will be responsible for operating a terminal mule to move trailers within the facility property and performing other physically demanding work within the facility.
Hours: 6:30 PM - 3:00 AM
Rate of Pay: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour. Also includes full health, dental, vision, life benefits, 401k with company match, & participation in company PTO program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate a yard truck or terminal tractor to move trailers within the yard to assigned loading or unloading areas.

Ensure trailers are properly parked in designated locations and that yard traffic flows smoothly.

Assist in staging trailers for loading or unloading, ensuring they are in the correct position and meet safety requirements.

Inspect equipment and trailers for safety and maintenance issues, reporting any problems to maintenance personnel.

Perform regular yard checks to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safe working conditions.

Coordinate with warehouse staff, forklift operators, and other yard personnel to maintain efficient operations.

Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and yard activities as required.

Follow all company safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment and working in the yard.

Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and management regarding trailer movements and any potential delays or issues.

Assist with other tasks as needed, such as moving freight between docks or preparing trailers for transport.

Assist with local pickup and deliveries when needed.

Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Adheres to company, federal, state, and local laws, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) HOS regulations.
Qualifications
COMPETENCIES
- Valid Class A license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Must be 23 years of age.
- Clean CSA score.
- Ability to drive at night.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Acceptable accident history.
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES
- Hazmat endorsement, or
- TWIC card.
