About Us
At Energy Worldnet, Inc. (EWN), we’re committed to innovation, quality, and efficiency. We’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Technology Operations team and help us deliver cutting-edge solutions to our users. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and maintain robust systems and processes that enhance our software engineering efforts while establishing site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.

What You’ll Do:
As a DevOps Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining automation for building, testing, and deployment using Azure Pipelines.
- Enhancing observability and reliability features within C# and Typescript application code.
- Monitoring and supporting the health of our product applications, infrastructure, and testing environments hosted in Azure.
- Designing self-service infrastructure provisioning tools for temporary application environments.
- Creating and maintaining robust incident response processes and service health dashboards.
- Addressing outages, service degradations, and participating in on-call rotations.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and database administrators to drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least:
- 3 years in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
- 5 years programming experience (e.g., C#, Javascript, Typescript, Python, Go, Rust, Java).
- 1-2 years experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates.
- 2 years working with Typescript or C#.
- 2 years experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitoring, or Grafana.
- 1 year experience with Docker.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- A strong background in SaaS product development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
