The Training Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for all staff involved in the decommissioning process. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of the decommissioning project.
- Ensure all training materials are up-to-date and comply with industry regulations and standards.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting as necessary.
- Collaborate with project managers, safety officers, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and priorities.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and certifications.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in nuclear decommissioning and training methodologies.
- Other training related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training, preferably in the nuclear or energy sector.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards in the nuclear industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Ability to carry up to 15 pounds; handle and reach below shoulder
- Ability to use hands to accomplish tasks as assigned
- Ability to effectively communicate; pass audiogram in hearing conservation program as required by location
- Ability to see close and distance and basic colors/shades
- Ability to work alone, interact with the public, and perform under deadline pressure
- Ability to work outdoor and indoor activities under various conditions
