Shipping & Receiving/Warehouse Assistant

Location: Houston, TX 77073
Pay: $18-$22/ Hour DOE
Shift: M-F 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1/2 hour unpaid lunch break)

Main Duties:
- Pull thread protectors from inventory and take to machine shop.
- Prepare orders for shipment by palletizing/banding, wrapping, and/or crating.
- Load/unload outgoing incoming trucks, using a forklift the transport pallets.
- Transport materials about the facility as needed.
- Unpack incoming parts, separating as required and prepare for work in shop by palletizing.
- Experience with bandsaw, hand tools, and power tools.
Requirements:
- Previous forklift experience/certification mandatory with 36K lb.-class forklift.
- Experience with other heavy equipment and overhead crane is preferred.
- Positive safety attitude.
- Familiarity with oil industry products (pipe, threaded pipe and accessories, thread protectors) is desirable.
- Must have valid Driver License.
- Drug test and background check.
- Steel-toe shoes.
Salary : $18 - $22
