POSITION SUMMARY 

The District Manager is a pivotal strategic leader responsible for driving success within the district. This role demands a results-driven, customer-oriented individual able to influence operational and sales strategies. The District Manager must exhibit leadership, accountability, business acumen, clear communication, and exceptional customer service. This position involves a blend of remote work, field assignments, and office duties across North Dakota's oil and gas sector.

 

Core Duties & Responsibilities: 

 Safety and Compliance

  • Always adhere to safety practices, company policies, and client regulations
  • With support from the HSE manager, implement the company's health, safety, and environment policies

Operational Excellence

  • Lead the branch, planning day-to-day operations and setting clear objectives
  • Organize, train, and schedule employees to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Manage and maintain all rental assets to ensure optimal functionality and value
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring profitability and compliance with standardized business practices

Customer Service and Relationship Management

  • Consistently deliver exceptional value and service to clients, maintaining high standards of excellence
  • Enhance customer service delivery while maximizing operational profitability
  • Engage with clients, building and nurturing strong relationships and partnership

Business Strategy and Growth

  • Collaborate with senior management to enhance market share, improve customer experience, and drive business growth
  • Monitor and maintain profit margins, implementing strategies that align with the business plan for optimal performance
  • Develop and execute district-level sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain clients
  • Analyze and capitalize on market trends and opportunities to drive innovation and growth

Leadership and Development

  • Champion EnerStar Core Values across all operations and interactions
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team development and performance enhancement

Additional Responsibilities

  • Undertake additional responsibilities as identified and assigned by management
  • Be willing and able to travel as required, ensuring field presence and engagement

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar discipline preferred
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered

Experience:

  • 4 to 7 years of progress career growth
  • Experience in the oil & gas industry
  • Management experience in equipment rental or related industry
  • Proven experience in management

  • Proficient in business development and strategy implementation
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to sell, manage, and propel growth initiatives

  • Proficiency in using technology and software relevant to the position
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to diverse audiences
