Job Purpose
The person in this position is responsible for maintaining and processing incoming materials that require inspection. This job includes but is not limited to performing inspection of Incoming Materials, support of other departments in the inspection and measurement of in-process analysis and measurement, inspection of MRO materials when requested, provide support to the quality and purchasing departments on Supplier evaluation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of Incoming Materials upon receipt. Completes review of compliance of EnerSys and suppliers inspection data, Certificates of Compliance, and Material certifications to EnerSys specifications.
- Provides support to manufacturing and other departments to evaluate various measurement and testing evaluations.
- Maintain the lab environment and ensure status of equipment remains in good report for proper analysis.
- Prepares standard reports, summarizes results, and maintains records.
- Compiles data and assist in statistical analysis studies of critical specifications.
- Understands and comply with incoming goods lab procedures.
- Coordinates and leads incoming goods lab activities by communicating with stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
