Job Purpose
Assist Mechanical Engineer on any designated development projects or engineering processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and build test fixtures
- Design mechanical systems, equipment and packaging
- Detail design drawings and package for ECN release
- Write test procedures
- Build prototype products
- Execute mechanical tests
- Perform environmental tests
- Document test reports
- Create and manage bill of materials
- Research and order prototype components
- Assist with resolving production issues
- Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
