About the Job
The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for leading our manufacturing operations at EnerSys Delaware, Inc. This position requires a highly skilled professional with experience in technical mixed high/low volume manufacturing environments and managing special processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Scheduling production activities effectively to produce and deliver on-time products that meet customer expectations.
- Preparing contingency schedules to reduce impacts from resource deficiencies and ensuring adequate inventory to support production schedules.
- Reviewing schedules with program management, manufacturing departments, production control, purchasing, and engineering to ensure resource availability and on-time deliveries.
- Evaluating and assessing production capacity, cycle times, and through-puts to meet forecasts and demands.
Qualifications
- HS diploma required; Bachelor's in Engineering or related discipline preferred.
- 10 years of experience in technical mixed high/low volume manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in managing special processes (i.e., spot weld, soldering, TIG, laser welding).
