Compensation Range:$82,500 - $123,900
Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions at the site level, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance evaluations, employee relations, policy enforcement, and ensuring compliance with labor laws, acting as a primary point of contact for employees on HR matters. The site HR Generalist essentially oversees the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
- Assist with the recruitment and hiring process, from screening resumes, conducting interviews, extending job offers, and managing the onboarding process for new hires.
- Administer employee benefits programs like health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, including open enrollment processes.
- Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, investigate complaints, and provide guidance on company policies.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable employment laws, including federal, state, and local regulations regarding hiring, termination, discrimination, etc.
- Assist with payroll administration to ensure the process of a timely payroll.
- Coordinate employee training programs and development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate, and confidential, employee files, including personal information, employment documents, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (5 or more years)
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Competent computer skills in MS Office. Knowledge of UKG and SAP software highly desirable
- Position requires to work full-time onsite at Longmont, CO location. Minimum travel to other EnerSys locations (1-2x/year).
- This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
