- Develop and implement corporate and local strategies regarding health, safety, and environmental support to our Sonora, Texas exploration and production operations.
- This posting is a fulltime employee position and is based in Sonora, Texas.
- Receives ongoing development in the area(s) of safety, health, and / or environment.
- Provides advice / coordination and technical support to HSE team and field.
- Responsibility for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the HSE management systems.
- Environment role includes responsibility for the development, implementation and maintenance of environmental programs / processes,
- Prepares and maintains environmental documents and records.
- Responsible for the following : engine testing, air permit data gathering and tracking permits, regulatory notices, incidents, training progress, training materials and presentations, maintaining chemical inventories, and regulatory reporting.
- Good working knowledge of both state and federal OSHA regulations and permitting requirements.
- Good understanding of Workman Comp processes and requirements.
- Professional judgment is required in planning and performing assignments.
- Other duties as assigned
- 5-10 years HSE experience
- Four year college degree preferred but not required
