Job Details
Looking for a strong and challenge seeking UX Designer with the following experience :
- Collaborating and communicating professionally with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Design user-experiences from low-fidelity sketches to hi-fidelity pixel perfect mockups into interactive prototypes in either Axure or Invision.
- Staying abreast of UX trends and looking for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel analogous worlds.
- Highly detailed communication of design principles direction, as well as design specifications and other documentation needed to explain to the engineers and QA what the expected experience will be.
- Present work to stakeholders to gather feedback on the products and features the designer is responsible for.
- Collect and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to inform and validate design decisions.
- Contribute to project requirements by reconciling User, Business and Technical needs.
- Proactively look for opportunities for reuse. Adhere to the interactive style guide and interaction uniformity within and across projects.
- Producing design deliverables for web and mobile projects that could include: IA documentation, rapid prototyping, site maps, concept diagrams, wireframes, flows, site inventory, template guidelines and annotated comps.
- Educates and evangelizes the benefits that user experience and design bring the to department and the company
Must have experience:
- Content strategy, information architecture, native and responsive mobile interaction design, interactive prototyping, sketching, motion design
- Competent in the following software programs:
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- InDesign
- Invision
- Axure
- PowerPoint
- JIRA
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field or 5 years of real world experience.
- Demonstrated experience in crafting usable digital interfaces.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to anticipate and design for user needs by incorporating research, strategy and analytics.
- Solid understanding of web and mobile (native) technologies.
- Strong process orientation and documentation abilities.
- A passion for data and the impact of design on the consumer.
- Ability to work independently, while elevating issues as necessary.
Experience that is a PLUS:
- Visual design.
- Experience with designing for accessibility in web and mobile apps.
- Have at least one app in either the App Store or Google Play Store.
- PowerPoint presentation and info-graphic design experience.
