Instructional Basketball Director, K-2 Basketball Program
HOURS OF WORK: SUNDAYS, 1/5/25 - 3/2/25, 10:30 AM – 3:15 PM
CLOSING DATE: MONDAY, November 25, 2024 at 5:00 PM
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Instructional Basketball Director is responsible for the planning, set-up, operation and break down of the K – 2 Instructional Basketball Program on Sundays at Enfield High School.
Duties include the planning & implementation of weekly program plans, assisting coaches in skill instruction as needed, supervision of support staff and volunteer coaches, interacting with the public, filling out basic reports, equipment management, general program supervision and basic first aid. Basketball knowledge required; coaching experience preferred.
Applicants must be punctual, have the ability to work independently, provide good customer service to the public and communicate effectively with Recreation office staff. Must be 18 years of age or older and available to work all program dates. Tentative Program Dates: Monday, January 5 – March 2, 2025, 10:30 AM – 3:15 PM.
