Job Summary: The Lunch Room Aide is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the school cafeteria. This role involves supervising students during meal times, ensuring a safe and clean environment, and supporting the cafeteria staff with various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students.
- Assist students.
- Monitor and assist in maintaining cleanliness in the cafeteria, including wiping tables and cleaning spills.
- Report any incidents or concerns to the school principal or cafeteria manager.
- Follow all school policies and procedures related to health and safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
