Job Description
Seeking a dynamic Director of Corporate Finance to be a key contributor in supporting recapitalization efforts (IPO or strategic sale) with significant exposure to the CFO and executive leadership team. This role will report to the VP of FP&A and help drive short- and long-term financial planning, the evaluation and execution of strategic alternatives and support capital raising activities (equity and/or long-term debt).
The ideal candidate will have expert modeling skills and a minimum 6-10 years of experience in corporate finance, capital markets and M&A through investment banking, consulting, publicly-traded companies and/or private equity / PE-backed companies. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or CFA highly preferred. Sector expertise in Power / Renewable Energy a plus.

Responsibilities
- Develop and own a flexible three-statement projection model comprising both regional and enterprise-level operations to support internal and external activities, including forward-looking analysis, long-range planning, cash flow / funding, underwriter analysis (lender/investor KPIs) and strategic alternatives and valuation, amongst others.
- Key participant in the development of a multiyear financial plan which will be used to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, up to and including as part of an IPO or strategic sale.
- Administration of internal investment committee (IC) process, including maintenance of underwriting materials and ongoing monitoring of project commitments and KPIs (e.g., investments, FMV and returns).
- Drive the development and organization of a variety of investor and lender presentations, including preparation of analyst day and roadshow materials.
- Participate in discussions with potential and existing investors and lenders.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or CFA highly preferred.
- Minimum 6-10 years of experience in corporate finance, capital markets and M&A through investment banking, consulting, publicly-traded companies and/or private equity / PE-backed companies.
- Sector expertise in Power / Renewable Energy a plus – either in the coverage group of a global investment bank or with the finance group of a company within the sector.
- Expert financial modeling skills with demonstrable experience and ability to develop complex in Excel for a variety of purposes (i.e., financial analysis, investor/lender analysis, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); executive presence and ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including external parties (e.g., investors, lenders).
- Proficiency with use of all MS Office products, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
