Job Description
Seeking an experienced and proven solar field services leader to oversee maintenance activities of the assigned assets and safely maximizing asset performance.
Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, Americas, this role will lead the solar technicians in the field and support establishing and expanding Enfinity Global’s self perform model in solar and BESS assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Be health, safety and environmental champion at all levels in Enfinity Global and when interacting with vendors and partners.
- Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance with laws, regulations and policies at any time for any Enfinity personnel or third party contractors on site.
- Prepare maintenance plans an execute on those plans to ensure safety and long term reliability of the solar assets. In some cases, oversee the preparation and execution of maintenance plans by third party service providers.
- Manage field technicians performing maintenance or troubleshooting to ensure safe and timely return to service of faulted equipment.
- From time to time, perform equipment troubleshooting on solar or BESS plants including, but not limited to, inverters, sensors, trackers, combiner boxes, etc.
- Assign work for the field technicians utilizing a CMMS or ticketing system.
- Maintain qualification records for the team and ensure the field service team is up to date in its required qualifications to perform the work.
- Manage the sourcing, maintenance and assignment of all work tool such as hand tools, IT tools, trucks, PPE, etc.
- Lead its team member recruiting and training to ensure best in class trained workforce.
Qualifications
- 8 years of successful U.S. solar energy industry experience in field services.
- Proven track record of creation of and growth of field teams, processes and tools.
- Proven ability of troubleshooting solar equipment.
- Proven track record of entrepreneurship within organizations and developing and leading field services.
- Experience in working in multi cultural international teams.
- Proficient English is a must. Spanish is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
