Engage Contracting is looking for a Job Cost Accountant to join our team!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company’s job costing process. The candidate will work closely with the VP of Finance and Project Management team in successfully managing the financial functions of all projects including accounts receivable, accounts payable, project cash flow, and project financial closeout.
Responsibilities
- Manage the ERP Integrations Daily Summary Report; review, approve, and ensure accuracy in information.
- Setup and maintain customer accounts and projects in ERP system.
- Monitor commitments, ensure accuracy and sync through ERP to accounting software, and manage document retention in company files.
- Audit jobs in Procore to make sure that the budgets are correct.
- Assist Project Manager in preparing for and conducting an organized, transparent, and accurate Project Status Report Meeting.
- Review all Change Orders.
- Assure thorough and timely billing of a project.
- Assist with job closing procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent 5 years of job costing experience
- Commercial Construction experience in Accounting preferred
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
