Senior Engineering Project Manager (Structural or Mechanical)


Location: West Palm Beach, FL or Miami, FL


Office Expectations: In-Office


Compensation: $175k & EOY bonus

Role Highlights:


As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll manage a variety of forensic and consulting projects, providing expert analysis and strategies to clients. You'll lead a team, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the successful execution of complex structural investigations. This in-office role offers a great work-life balance with half-day Fridays, allowing you to maintain both professional success and personal time.

What You’ll Do:


- Consulting & Strategy: Provide expert consulting advice and develop strategies to support client cases, collaborating closely with their legal teams.

- Site Investigations: Perform site investigations and testing to gather the necessary information for case preparation.

- Report Development: Analyze expert reports, prepare detailed reports, and ensure their strategic use in client cases.

- Trial Support: Assist clients in preparing for trial, providing persuasive expert testimony during depositions, trials, or arbitration.

- Forensic Investigations: Lead hands-on forensic investigations, including field testing, data collection, and construction observations.

- Research & Analysis: Review and analyze construction documents, codes, and design guidelines to inform problem-solving and repair strategies.

- Technical Expertise: Perform calculations and use software to complete in-depth structural analysis.

- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a team of engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities for junior staff.

- Team Management: Proactively manage and address any issues or conflicts that may impact project timelines and deliverables.

Who You Are:


- Experienced: A seasoned professional with a strong background in structural engineering or mechanical engineering, specifically in forensic investigations.

- Licensed: Active Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to reciprocate from another state within six months of starting employment.

- Litigation Experienced: Have a record of litigation experience including expert witness testimonies and depositions.

- Technical: Comfortable using both hand calculations and advanced analysis software to support your findings.

- Client-Focused: Skilled at providing expert advice to clients and preparing for trial, including offering persuasive testimony.

- Leadership-Oriented: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and train junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team culture.

- Problem Solver: Able to analyze complex data and provide strategic solutions to support client cases.
