SPONSOR A CHILD COORDINATOR (SAC)
Oversee the Sponsor-a-Child program for Engage Hope Ministries by delivering exceptional service to ministry partners and donors. Drive program growth through creativity and efficiency, ensuring the program exceeds expectations in service delivery, financial integrity, and stakeholder engagement.
Data Management and Analysis
- Responsible for accuracy of child, sponsor and donor information in the Contact Relationship Mgmt (CRM) system.
- Provide accurate weekly and monthly reporting on the health of the SAC Program against key performance indicators.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with donors, ministry partners and company leaders.
- Capable of corresponding with sponsors providing regular updates on each child’s progress and needs through letters, photos and report cards.
- Maintain donor relationships while providing opportunities to add value to our Program and children.
Financial Management
- Maintain financial integrity of the SAC Program ensuring timely receipt and distribution of donor payments.
- Review and manage donations, identify payment issues, and communicate with donors to resolve them promptly.
- Prepare monthly wire transfer documentation accurately and efficiently, supporting gifts to children, monthly sponsorship, and tuition payments.
- Coordinate with ministry partners throughout a child’s post-secondary education, processing tuition requisitions each term to various educational institutions.
Program Evaluation and Improvement
- Conduct regular evaluations of the Sponsor-a-Child program to assess its effectiveness.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance Program outcomes.
- Assess ministry partner relationships to ensure alignment and adherence to Program goals.
Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, donors, and ministry partners.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and external partners.
- Support the development team to attract new sponsors and donors.
- Organize and participate in events to promote the Sponsor-a-Child program.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience or understanding of non-profit and faith-based organizations.
- Ability to work with diverse cultures and adapt to different environments, including international travel to Uganda.
- Strong, independent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Contact Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently and accurately.
Salary : $15 - $18
