- We have partnered with a healthcare organization that is looking to hire an EMR professional who is Epic Certified (valid & up to date, not expired) and has a min 4 yrs of Epic OpTime app configuration expertise.
- Qualified applicants will hold a valid, up to date Epic OpTime Certification; Epic Beacon Cert is a plus.
The Application Analyst III - OpTime is primarily responsible for supporting all aspects of applications that support the operation of the procedure suite. This includes responsibilities of the Application Analyst I and II as well as plans for support escalations, training, and processes such as break/fix and systems change management. The role also tests and supports custom system development.
Responsibilities
- In addition to the primary responsibilities associated with the Application Analyst I and Application Analyst II,
- Plans tier one technical support processes, such as break fix, troubleshooting, and systems change management.
- Plans tier 2 technical support processes.
- Plans training
- Plans systems validation processes to meet regulatory compliance
- Plans system configuration.
- Tests and supports custom system development.
Qualifications
Required:
- Epic OpTime Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Four years of IT experience; preferably in a health care setting; one year of experience supervising other employees preferred
- Able to rapidly solve IT systems problems that interfere with or disable clinical operations.
- Ability to identify and triage issues appropriately.
- Ability to organize and prioritize concurrent responsibilities and demands.
- Ability to use initiative and sound judgment in carrying out responsibilities.
- Ability to meet timelines for assigned tasks.
- Ability to train others in how to use systems.
- Ability to build relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Ability to work in a complex, fast paced, health care environment.
- Demonstrated interest in advancing technical capability.
- Customer service skills
Preferred:
- BA/BS in related field
- Epic Beacon Certification
- Extensive upgrade/go-live experience
- Experience building in procedure suite environment, vs. straight hospital OR.
- Experience in cancer center preferred
Salary : $102,000 - $161,000
