Senior Test Engineer

SUMMARY

The Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, and analyzing test results for new and existing industrial printing products. The successful candidate will report directly to the VP of Engineering and collaborate with design, purchasing, and manufacturing teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Product Qualification :

• Design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing for Design Verification.
• Ensure product quality by creating test fixtures that include building, programming, debugging, and deploying.
• Maintain and update test fixtures and equipment supporting functional and final acceptance tests.
• Understand the functionality of industrial printers to reduce test time or suggest additional test cases.
• Participate in design reviews and design for testability,
• Compile test data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, manufacturing processes, or test requirements.
• Understand product requirements to select sensors and equipment to create a full test strategy.
• Understand customer requirements and translate to test cases for product qualification and production test.
• Ability to provide professional customer service as occasionally needed.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites infrequently.
